Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Round Lake, Illinois, United States

Salary: $72,000–$99,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Supervise and lead mechanics and technicians supporting manufacturing operations.
• Execute assigned shutdowns and maintenance projects while directing resources to meet operational and budget commitments.
• Maintain compliance with preventive maintenance, CMMS, documentation, training, quality, safety, SOP, GMP, cGMP, and FDA requirements.
• Assess and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process, and equipment issues in collaboration with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and personnel teams.
• Conduct and facilitate training in GMP, troubleshooting, maintenance skills, and safety.
• Maintain maintenance, attendance, labor, safety, and performance reports while sustaining a clean work area using 6S principles.

Requirements

• AAS degree in a scientific or engineering field and at least five years of industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent experience.
• Technical leadership, communication, administrative, prioritization, and professional writing skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and CMMS.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and process assessment and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical regulatory and safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout and other safety programs.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Basic written and oral English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of WCM methods, including Lean, Six Sigma, and QLP.
