Production Supervisor (Robotics Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Hayward or San Carlos, California; day or swing shift

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Lead the daily assembly-floor operation and deliver daily and weekly NEO build targets.
• Manage production workflow, throughput, yield, first-pass quality, and on-time completion.
• Build, train, and lead an accountable production team, including cross-training and skills development.
• Reduce defects and rework through root-cause problem solving, process control, and collaboration with Quality and Engineering.
• Own floor safety, enforce safety protocols, and promote early reporting of issues.
• Lead meaningful quarterly process improvements affecting cycle time, ergonomics, quality, or cost.

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct supervision of production or manufacturing teams in a hands-on, on-floor capacity.
• Track record of meeting production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Working fluency in production planning, quality systems, and safety practices, including standard work, defect tracking, lockout/tagout, and PPE compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving products, processes, and priorities.
• Ability to work on-site in Hayward or San Carlos on a day or swing shift.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing in robotics, aerospace, medical devices, EVs, or advanced electromechanical assembly.
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other structured continuous-improvement methods.
• Experience launching a new product line or ramping a process from pilot to production.
• Familiarity with MES, ERP, or production-tracking systems.
• Experience training and developing technicians through cross-training and skills matrices.
