Sales Rep (Packaging)

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans across assigned territories and accounts.
• Secure and maintain product and service distribution, including pricing and sales agreement negotiations.
• Build and manage lead-generation plans and maintain a substantive sales pipeline.
• Develop existing business by maintaining customer relationships and addressing customer needs.
• Coordinate with the design department to improve existing packaging designs and develop new ones.
• Manage account administration, including records, credit applications, forecasts, budgets, and delinquent credit collections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3–5 years of outside sales experience with a proven record of success.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record for the past three years to qualify for a company vehicle or vehicle reimbursement.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, use independent judgment, and negotiate difficult or sensitive accounts.
• Self-motivated approach and commitment to individual and team success.

Nice to have

• Three years of experience in corrugated material or paper sales.
