Site Sustainability Manager (Sustainability)

Location: Redmond, WA; on-site, days/variable schedule, Monday–Friday

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate onsite sustainability and facilities programs in line with customer contracts, company policies, budgets, and performance goals.
• Manage non-hazardous solid waste vendors, including container placement, collection schedules, capacity, and cost optimization.
• Plan schedules, prepare supplies and equipment, inspect facilities, and improve operational methods and processes.
• Track and report labor hours, expenses, billing, forecasts, budgets, contract status, and other operational information.
• Act as a liaison among the company, customers, employees, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Lead sustainable programs involving green supplies, green equipment, green processes, and participation in USGBC LEED projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of related experience, or an associate degree with three years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with operational planning, budgeting, vendor and contract management, customer relations, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to supervise, hire, train, evaluate, assign, and direct employees while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and perform required onsite duties.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required.
• LEED certification may be required, with the ability to participate in USGBC LEED projects.
