Field Services Manager (Environmental Solutions)

Location: Avon Lake, Ohio, USA; field-based work includes heights, confined spaces, various weather conditions, and physical activities.

Salary: $91,200–$121,400 USD per annum.

What you will do

• Lead daily Field Solutions operations and train employees in safe, compliant work practices.
• Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous material handling, documentation, compatibility assessment, and transportation.
• Manage the full job lifecycle, including quotes, scheduling, labor and equipment coordination, invoicing, and completion.
• Monitor budgets, sales, activity reports, productivity, and financial performance to identify improvements and cost reductions.
• Build relationships with customers, sales representatives, laboratory and transportation teams, and hirify.global facilities.
• Mentor employees, manage performance, and maintain a strong safety record.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in field services, waste management, or environmental solutions.
• Working knowledge of RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and USEPA compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, detail-oriented, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting or carrying up to 50 lb, working at heights and in confined spaces, wearing a full-face respirator, and working in varied weather.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, business administration, or a related field.
