Automotive Purchasing & Auction Analyst

Location: Remote from the Philippines, Latin America, or South Africa; US Business Hours, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET

What you will do

• Source potential vehicle inventory through online auto auctions, insurance salvage sales, and private car listings.
• Evaluate vehicle resale and salvage value, repair feasibility, and profit potential before purchase.
• Research vehicle data and market trends, then prepare actionable purchasing recommendations for management.
• Catalog vehicle specifications, trim levels, conditions, pricing histories, and inventory updates in spreadsheets and tracking tools.
• Coordinate purchasing decisions with the team and maintain accurate, real-time inventory pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in vehicle buy-and-sell, automotive resale, or salvage auction sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, parts, trims, and repair or salvage dynamics.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data quickly and make profit-driven recommendations.
• Ability to learn internal workflows and tracking software and adapt to fast-changing market conditions.
• Dedicated quiet home office, reliable 25–50 Mbps internet with backup connectivity, modern computer, and noise-canceling USB headset.
