Order & Inventory Analyst (Automotive)

What you will do

• Process customer orders received through EDI, email, and internal requests, creating sales orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Coordinate air, courier, and freight shipments, pickups, warehouses, freight forwarders, suppliers, and delivery schedules.
• Send ASNs and manage end-to-end order fulfillment, returns, special shipments, prototype parts, and service parts.
• Maintain inventory systems including Phreebooks, ERP, and WMS; update inbound and outbound data and inventory matrices.
• Monitor inventory against forecasts, reconcile discrepancies, perform inventory valuation and order balance checks, and prepare planning and delivery matrices.
• Support EDI/ERP improvements, warehouse system integrations, SOP and barcode label creation, logistics cost analysis, continuous improvement, and ISO9001, IATF16949, and CTPAT compliance activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in order management, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, numerical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Understanding of inventory management, logistics, supply chain processes, international trade, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Experience with ERP/EDI systems and data management tools such as Phreebooks, plus standard office and reporting software.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, economics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• English and Japanese proficiency required; Japanese native or near-native proficiency preferred.
