Global Lead Buyer Freight and Logistic Services (Automotive)

Location: Wrocław, Poland; hybrid setup with 1–2 days per week in the Wrocław office and home office

What you will do

• Procure international and cross-business-unit transport and logistics services for hirify.global business units worldwide.
• Negotiate with third-party providers to achieve savings and cost avoidance.
• Define logistics concepts that leverage synergies across business units and consolidate sourcing opportunities across global markets.
• Review sourcing decisions, define supplier panels, and support framework agreements and negotiations.
• Coordinate with business unit, plant, headquarters, and global logistics functions to define requirements and strategies.
• Collaborate on critical logistics situations and escalations.

Requirements

• Business-related university degree.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes and markets covering transport, warehousing, and logistics services.
• Expertise in logistics calculation and planning methods.
• Several years of experience in a comparable position; forwarder agency experience is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, strong communication and negotiation skills, and intercultural collaboration abilities.
• Fluent English required; willingness to travel.

• German language skills.
• Experience working for a freight forwarder agency.
