Customer Service Specialist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide administrative support across customer service product lines and handle customer complaints.
• Process, review, and monitor customer orders, shipments, forecasts, replenishments, and related documentation.
• Prepare quotes and recommend products based on customer needs.
• Inform customers about shipping dates, delays, and required information.
• Prepare change notices and follow up on engineered changes affecting current and new orders.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, warehouse, carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and trace delayed shipments.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, percentages, volume, premiums, and invoices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, telephone, and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and familiarity with general office equipment.
• Ability to prioritize workloads, maintain accuracy, and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of MRP systems.
