Senior Backend Developer (Java)

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (Austin, TX office available; relocation may be required)

What you will do

• Deliver highly scalable and reliable business applications using J2EE technologies.
• Maintain existing applications by implementing new features and resolving critical bugs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on code reviews, infrastructure, and process improvements.
• Ensure unit and system tests are fully automated to meet quality assurance standards.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to support business and financial goals.
• Build and manage reports in BI platforms such as Qlik, Power BI, and Tableau.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• Strong experience with J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining scalable backend applications.
• Experience with BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Ability to produce documentation for training and compliance.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 5% of the time.
