Director of Finance (Healthcare)

Location: St Paul, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work with a required minimum number of onsite days per week

Salary: $176,000–$242,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own the full P&L and lead financial planning, forecasting, long-range planning, reporting, and monthly operating reviews for the Respiratory Health and Cardiology divisions.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to divisional and segment leaders, influencing business strategy and supporting portfolio optimization and new product development decisions.
• Lead finance workstreams for M&A, including acquisition modeling and financial due diligence.
• Build third-party reimbursement models and analyses to improve average selling price and billing yield.
• Oversee Cardiology controllership, including month-end close, financial controls, ERP management, accounts payable and receivable, inventory, tax compliance, and treasury operations.
• Lead, develop, coach, and mentor finance managers and cross-functional teams while managing risk mitigation and implementation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or country equivalent.
• Typically 15+ years of experience with demonstrated finance competencies and qualifications.
• Proven healthcare industry experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge of third-party reimbursement and the complexities of the healthcare business model.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, tax and legal accounting, internal controls, SEC requirements, and financial policies.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Knowledge of acquisition accounting.
