What you will do

• Partner with academic, scientific, and operational leaders to understand priorities, financial drivers, and performance objectives.
• Provide financial analysis, business modeling, forecasting, and decision support for strategic and operational initiatives.
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecast updates with departmental stakeholders.
• Monitor financial results, analyze trends and variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations covering key performance indicators and business insights.
• Evaluate business cases, capital investments, operational improvements, and new initiatives while supporting long-range planning and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, business partnering, or related finance roles.
• Experience supporting business leaders with data-driven financial insights and recommendations.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including financial modeling and business-case development.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to varied audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
