Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting and mid-year refresh processes across cost centers, headcount, product lines, and customer types.
• Develop long-range financial plans and sales, revenue, pipeline, and resource-forecasting models.
• Build and maintain SaaS and hardware forecasting models covering ARR, net revenue retention, churn, implementation pipelines, inventory, and deployment schedules.
• Own monthly management reporting, quarterly board materials, and the FP&A component of the monthly close.
• Establish authoritative business metrics, dashboards, and reporting workflows with improved tooling, automation, and AI.
• Translate variances into root-cause analysis and recommended operating actions for the CEO, COO, and department heads.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Required experience in a SaaS business with recurring-revenue metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, and gross margin.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills, including three-statement models, scenario analysis, and driver-based forecasting.
• Experience building or improving FP&A infrastructure, including data definitions, model architecture, reporting workflows, and automation.
• Expert proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to present concise financial narratives to executives and department leaders.
• Must be located in the United States.
