AI Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office in Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

Salary: $115,000–$150,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Gather requirements and translate business needs into defined, actionable work.
• Analyze business processes and data to support AI solution design and decision-making.
• Evaluate AI tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT for enterprise use.
• Manage intake, demand, and backlog processes for the Corporate AI team.
• Define and track outcome metrics and KPIs, producing executive-ready summaries.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, the enablement lead, and stakeholders on APIs, integrations, and enterprise SaaS platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, technical or product analysis, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and using data to measure outcomes.
• Experience managing intake, demand, or backlog and defining metrics or KPIs.
• Working proficiency with Jira, Linear, or equivalent work-tracking tools, plus spreadsheets or BI tools.
• Technical fluency sufficient to collaborate with engineers on APIs, integrations, and enterprise SaaS platforms.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMP.
• Working knowledge of AI-related risks, including data security, privacy, and cost considerations.
