IS Technical Specialist

What you will do

• Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
• Provide technical and consultative support for complex hardware and software issues.
• Use technical tools for systems development and ongoing support.
• Monitor technical industry trends and assess their relevance to the organization.
• Support training needs and assist with training less experienced staff.
• Serve as project leader for specific projects and collaborate with IT, vendor, and business groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an additional four years of related work experience in lieu of the degree.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and multi-platform environments.
• Ability to balance systems development and technical support responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-service focus and ability to work effectively with IT, vendor, and business groups.
