Supplier Engineer III Senior (Semiconductor)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; domestic travel of more than 50% required. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $96,000–$132,000 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate technical requirements and work with suppliers to define parts cleaning solutions that improve savings, lead times, system performance, parts life, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Surface Technology and Quality teams to clarify engineering drawing requirements and communicate expectations to suppliers.
• Participate in supplier selection and develop a supply base focused on quality, cost, delivery, and technology.
• Lead supplier technical audits, evaluate capabilities and performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support quality problem resolution, incident management, and supplier corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor cost drivers and supply markets to support competitive cost planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10–20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or parts manufacturing and cleaning.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with successful project experience in new product introduction, Lean projects, or quality upgrades.
• Strong integrity and intellectual property awareness when working at supplier sites.
• Ability to support domestic travel exceeding 50%.
