AIx Product Manager (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Travel required up to 25% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $154,000–$212,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Contribute to product strategy, roadmap definition, requirements development, and product lifecycle decisions.
• Translate customer, field, and engineering inputs into use cases, value propositions, roadmap recommendations, and business cases.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, customer value, differentiation, and execution trade-offs.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Sales, Marketing, Field, Operations, and Service teams on product execution and launch readiness.
• Synthesize customer feedback, escalations, installed-base insights, and competitive intelligence into product recommendations.
• Progress from technical product contribution toward ownership of selected product decisions and roadmap workstreams.

Requirements

• PhD in Engineering, Science, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong technical foundation and experience solving complex engineering or technology problems relevant to products, services, or customer environments.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into customer value, product requirements, and cross-functional execution plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with engineering, field, business, and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Curiosity and commitment to developing product management, business, and commercial skills.
• Structured mentorship and a transition plan will support development toward increasing independence over 6–12 months.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor equipment, process technology, services, diagnostics, data platforms, automation, reliability, or advanced manufacturing.
• Exposure to customer escalations, field support, roadmap discussions, technology transfer, or cross-functional product development.
• Experience preparing technical presentations, competitive assessments, business cases, or requirements documents.
• Familiarity with market requirements specifications, product lifecycle management, launch readiness, pricing inputs, or service product strategy.
• Experience using Agentic AI solutions to develop concepts, UI prototypes, and dynamic product requirements documents.
