Trade Compliance Specialist – Singapore (US Export Licensing Support)

What you will do

• Review transactions for compliance with U.S. export regulations and Singapore export controls.
• Identify licensing requirements, compliance risks, and appropriate mitigation measures.
• Prepare export documentation, support license applications and product classifications, and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, internal teams, U.S.-based licensing teams, and regional stakeholders to support compliant shipments.
• Support audits, internal reviews, training, and process improvements.
• Analyze trade data and prepare reports using Excel, Power BI or Tableau, and compliance systems such as SAP GTS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in export compliance, global trade operations, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations, including EAR, and Singapore export controls.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting, plus PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with trade compliance systems, ERP tools such as SAP GTS, or screening tools.
