What you will do

• Act as the primary regional decision-maker for export control and sanctions matters.
• Provide actionable guidance to regional Sales, R&D, and Operations teams to balance risk and business objectives.
• Identify and manage regional risks, escalating enterprise-level issues through defined frameworks.
• Ensure regional alignment with global regulatory governance and standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and regional regulators during audits and licensing.
• Support M&A, restructuring, and business transformation initiatives by identifying legal implications.

Requirements

• Solid experience in export controls and sanctions within a multinational environment.
• Strong expertise in US export controls (EAR / BIS) and their global application.
• Proven ability to act as a decision-maker in complex and high-risk situations.
• Deep understanding of regulatory environments across South & Southeast Asia.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business guidance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
