Site Director, Customer Engineer - ESMC Long-Term Assignment (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Kaohsiung, Linkou, Taichung, or Tainan, Taiwan; two-year long-term assignment in Dresden, Germany for the TSMC global account. Travel required 50% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Lead the Customer Engineering organization supporting the TSMC global account in Dresden.
• Manage Site Managers and Customer Engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership across multiple field service groups.
• Own site-level customer satisfaction, operational commitments, service delivery, and business issues.
• Manage P&L, budgets, performance metrics, and progress against business unit and account goals.
• Anticipate customer needs and direct solutions for high-value manufacturing and service challenges.
• Build workforce capabilities, support employee development, and align site strategies with senior business management.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in semiconductor field teams, preferably with an equipment supplier and after-service business experience.
• Experience managing multiple sites and at least 7 years of people management experience.
• Experience leading a multi-layer organization or more than 2 years as a Site Director or Senior Manager is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with TSMC is preferred.
• Technical module experience in areas such as PVD, CVD, etch, FEP, CMP, or implant is acceptable.
• English and Chinese communication skills are required.
