Service Manager, Customer Engineer - ESMC Long-Term Assignment (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Kaohsiung, Linkou, Taichung, or Tainan, Taiwan; two-year long-term assignment in Dresden, Germany

What you will do

• Lead and manage Customer Engineers supporting the TSMC global account in Germany and Taiwan.
• Coach local managers and engineers, develop team capability, support career planning, and conduct performance management.
• Build customer relationships, conduct regular customer visits, and host weekly customer meetings.
• Coordinate with product divisions, technical support, training, spare parts, reliability, sales, and field engineering teams.
• Manage equipment installation planning and execution, escalations, RMA procedures, engineer productivity, and operational reporting.
• Own district account planning, financial forecasting, cost efficiency, margin improvement, and tool uptime reviews.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of people management or team leadership experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or with an equipment supplier.
• Experience or business acumen in after-sales service is required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships and communicate effectively with customers.
• English and Chinese communication skills are required.
• Experience with field service teams in a vendor environment is preferred.
