Business Intelligence Analyst - Global Logistics Supplier Management (B2) (Logistics)

Location: Austin, TX; domestic and international travel required, approximately 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $76,000.00–$104,500.00 per year, plus potential bonus and stock award compensation.

What you will do

• Lead RFP analytics using Coupa Sourcing Optimization, including extracting, cleansing, normalizing, re-rating, and analyzing historical logistics datasets.
• Partner with the Data Architecture team to create reports and provide actionable insights for Commodity Business Managers during commercial negotiations.
• Manage logistics supplier rate repositories and support contract lifecycle management, contract database maintenance, and Freight Audit & Payment integration.
• Analyze fuel surcharge schedules, historical trends, current events, and logistics cost impacts; recommend adjustments to the Applied fuel surcharge program.
• Track currency exchange rates from sources including the US Federal Reserve, Wall Street Journal, and OANDA, and determine their financial impact on commercial contracts.
• Support supplier management and other commercial projects while coordinating with global cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive data management experience focused on global logistics activities.
• BA/BS in business, management information systems, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience delivering results in a global organization and understanding logistics networks covering transportation, warehousing, crating, and packaging.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including nested formulas, pivot tables, financial functions, and analysis of very large datasets.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, commodity management, procurement, materials management, contracting, manufacturing processes, business and finance, and commodity strategies.
• Knowledge of international and domestic transportation, including heavyweight air, ocean, parcel ground/air, and truckload, as well as warehousing, crating, and packaging.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, analytical ability, financial acumen, and business acumen.
• Ability to work flexible hours, coordinate internationally, and travel domestically and internationally.
• Working knowledge of e-sourcing and contract lifecycle platforms, specifically Coupa CSO and CLMA, including RFP processes, supplier negotiations, event creation, supplier engagement, bid analysis, and contract execution workflows.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Coupa Sourcing Optimization and Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management in a global procurement or supply chain environment.
• Lean and Six Sigma experience.
• Experience with Tableau reporting.
• NAPM and/or APICS certification.
