Payments Tech - QA Testing Analyst - Senior

Location: Columbus, OH, United States. Workplace type: Office; specific flexible arrangements will be provided by the hiring team. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end testing across applications, APIs, vendor integrations, and downstream systems.
• Define test strategies, scope, environments, test data requirements, timelines, and production-readiness criteria.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
• Create and analyze performance, load, stress, and volume testing to validate scalability and reliability.
• Lead defect triage, coordinate remediation, and validate functional, security, performance, and production verification results.
• Mentor offshore QA members and coordinate testing across distributed onsite and offshore teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience, or additional qualifying IT experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with both manual and automated QA testing for enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, or Postman.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or BlazeMeter.
• Strong SQL, data validation, CI/CD, defect management, test management, and Agile delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Payments, cards, banking, or financial services domain experience.
• Experience leading offshore QA teams and integrating automated testing into DevOps pipelines.
• Experience with Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
