Automation Engineer (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, regression, and performance tests.
• Test software products, investigate problems, and perform manual testing when automated coverage is unavailable.
• Detect, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document software defects and feature requests.
• Collaborate with developers to determine defect resolutions.
• Assist with planning and implementing tests for new features.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional software testing experience.
• Strong proficiency with automated testing frameworks, methodologies, test design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience designing integration test suites, testing REST APIs, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Cypress or a similar end-to-end testing framework.
• Experience with Git, software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, test documentation, and defect reporting.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required; active TS/SCI with polygraph preferred.

Nice to have

• JavaScript or TypeScript programming skills and experience with microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, Jest, Mocha, Postman, REST Assured, Supertest, k6, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Experience with contract testing, containerized environments, test data management, mocking, accessibility testing, or visual regression.
• Familiarity with Go, Node, Python, security testing, BDD frameworks, cloud test platforms, or test metrics dashboards.
• Experience mentoring junior test engineers.
