Home Savers Analyst (Mortgage)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; office-based. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Prepare mortgage loan modification documents.
• Assist with calls to borrowers in default and offer Home Savers options.
• Manage an assigned pipeline and coordinate with customers, banking offices, and vendors to resolve cases.
• Image and record required documents with county offices.
• Perform additional duties based on volume and department needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of loss mitigation experience.
• At least one year of consumer underwriting experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, follow-up, and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow bank policies and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loss mitigation.
• Ability to analyze complex loan structures and review personal and business tax returns, P&L statements, and financial statements.
• Knowledge of standard mortgage loan documents, including appraisals, title reports, income verification, purchase contracts, lease agreements, trusts, and warranty deeds.
• Experience with risk accountability, regulatory compliance, audits, and examination responses.
• Experience working in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision while maintaining service levels.
