Location: 100% onsite at Boom's headquarters in Centennial, Colorado, United States

Salary: $92,000–$124,000 per year

What you will do

  • Own a defined piece of software and be accountable for its outcomes.
  • Build data models and workflows for designing, buying, building, and tracing hardware components.
  • Develop near-real-time telemetry systems for engines, turbines, and factory machines.
  • Create design and analysis tools for aerodynamics, turbine design, combustion, structures, and engine performance modeling.
  • Build and operate HPC clusters, compute pipelines, fleet automation, and deployment pipelines.
  • Work directly with engineers, technicians, and test crews to ship tools that enter daily use quickly, including AI-enabled interfaces and coding workflows.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent evidence of software-building ability.
  • At least one software project shipped for use by people other than yourself; school projects alone do not qualify.
  • Internship or co-op experience involving delivery of real software.
  • Strong computing fundamentals, curiosity about how systems work, and a record of completing difficult projects.
  • Must work 100% onsite at the Centennial, Colorado headquarters.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. export-control authorizations under ITAR and EAR.
