Senior Recruiter (Tech Recruiting)

Location: New York, New York, United States; in-office attendance required 4–5 days per week

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 USD annually, plus equity

The Farmer’s Dog provides personalized, freshly made dog food through a direct-to-consumer subscription service and is expanding into broader pet-care experiences.

What you will do

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process from intake through offer close across technical and specialized roles.
• Partner with hiring managers as a strategic advisor to define talent requirements, sourcing strategies, and hiring standards.
• Build creative pipelines for passive candidates through targeted outreach, network activation, and additional sourcing channels.
• Run structured interview processes and deliver a consistent candidate and stakeholder experience.
• Use data and AI to identify effective recruiting practices, improve hiring workflows, and enhance candidate and interviewer experiences.
• Lead recruiting projects end-to-end and collaborate with other recruiters on industry trends and process improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Recent experience hiring for Software Engineering, Data, and Product roles at IC through leadership levels.
• Fluent use of LinkedIn Recruiter and experience with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS.
• Strong passive-candidate sourcing skills, including creative pipeline development beyond inbound applications and standard Boolean searches.
• Ability to advise hiring managers as a peer, manage ambiguity and multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and communicate complex information clearly.
• Ability and willingness to work in the New York office 4–5 days per week.
