Technical Recruiter (Supercomputing/ML)

Location: On-site in San Jose (Santana Row), United States

Salary: $100,000–$220,000 per year plus significant equity

What you will do

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer.
• Partner with hiring managers and advocate for candidate and company needs.
• Source exceptional candidates through GitHub, arXiv, Apache mailing lists, and other unconventional channels.
• Facilitate structured interview loops, track candidate performance, and lead debriefs.
• Manage offers and closing processes with hiring managers and leadership.
• Improve recruiting systems, workflows, and candidate experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in highly competitive markets.
• Ability to evaluate technical depth and cultural fit with clarity and nuance.
• Resourcefulness in identifying candidates beyond standard recruiting platforms.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build systems from scratch.
• Strong focus on candidate experience and operational excellence.
• Willingness to work fully in person in San Jose.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI, semiconductor, or hardware engineering talent markets.
• Experience hiring exceptional engineers in niche or emerging fields.
