Technical Recruiter (AI/Hardware)

Location: San Jose, on-site

Salary: $100K–$220K per year plus significant equity

What you will do

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offers.
• Partner with hiring managers and advocate for candidate and business needs.
• Source exceptional candidates through unconventional channels, including GitHub, arXiv, Apache mailing lists, and Twitter.
• Facilitate structured interview loops, track candidate performance, and lead debriefs.
• Manage offer and closing processes with hiring managers and leadership.
• Improve recruiting systems, workflows, and candidate experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience recruiting non-technical talent in highly competitive markets.
• Ability to evaluate technical depth and cultural fit with nuance and clarity.
• Resourcefulness in finding candidates beyond conventional platforms.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and building systems from scratch.
• Strong focus on candidate experience and operational excellence.
• Must work fully in person in San Jose.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI, semiconductor, or hardware engineering talent markets.
• Experience hiring engineers in niche or emerging fields.
