Process Support Engineer - Ramp Execution Lead (Semiconductor)

Location: Boise, ID (on-site); travel required 25% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end semiconductor process ramp activities against acceptance criteria, schedules, and performance targets.
• Coordinate site-level process support qualification workflows, ramp readiness, pre-flight activities, and progress tracking.
• Drive daily collaboration across field service, process engineering, manufacturing, customer engineering, and operations teams.
• Coordinate hardware and process matching, including data collection, analysis, and configuration alignment.
• Manage startup reports, special request tracking, enterprise-system reporting, and ramp resource visibility.
• Identify risks and coordinate escalations, process improvements, yield enhancements, and transition to high-volume manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in semiconductor process engineering, equipment qualification, or ramp execution.
• Strong understanding of process qualification frameworks, technical specifications, and statistical matching methodologies.
• Strong organizational, execution, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a customer-facing environment and managing complex schedules and technical risks.
• Ability to work on-site in Boise, Idaho and travel 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-site ramp execution or large-scale fab startups.
• Experience working directly with semiconductor customers in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating in high-pressure, fast-paced technical environments while maintaining customer alignment.
