Sr. Engineer, Packaging (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of packaging equipment and systems.
• Optimize filling and packaging processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost performance.
• Implement Statistical Process Control programs and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness and other performance metrics.
• Manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives from concept through closure.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, maintenance personnel, and technical resources while reporting project status and managing risks.
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment issues and implement sustainable solutions for manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of engineering experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience leading packaging equipment installations, upgrades, qualifications, and validation activities.
• Experience with capital projects, IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols, equipment commissioning, SPC, statistical analysis, OEE, and reliability principles.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, filling, packaging, serialization, labeling, inspection, or automated manufacturing systems.
• Fully bilingual in written and verbal English and Spanish.
