Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; onsite presence required 4 days per week. Candidates below the Principal level must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.

Salary: $102,400.00–$153,600.00 annually; eligible for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes, production equipment, and workflow layouts for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Lead process validation, equipment qualification, and manufacturing readiness activities for product and process changes.
• Analyze manufacturing performance data, apply statistical process control, and implement corrective and preventive actions for process variability and quality issues.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process specifications, validation protocols, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with Quality, Operations, and Research and Development on product transfers, design changes, continuous improvement, and manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate and implement automation, tooling, fixtures, and equipment enhancements while ensuring regulatory, quality-system, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, or Master’s degree with 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, or PhD with 0+ years of experience.
• Experience developing and sustaining manufacturing processes in a regulated production environment.
• Experience with process validation, equipment qualification, or manufacturing process development.
• For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is offered only for Principal-level roles and above.
