Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Teal Drones, SLC, Utah 84115, USA; onsite manufacturing environment. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents and must not require sponsorship for export-controlled work.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and output goals.
• Lead, coach, manage, develop, onboard, and train production team members, including supporting performance and attendance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, work instructions, employee handbook requirements, regulations, and operating procedures.
• Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement one-piece flow, 5S, lean principles, and other process improvements.
• Maintain production, inventory, labor, and shift records; manage schedules, assignments, attendance, daily startup meetings, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, AS9100 quality standards, and production workflows.
• Excellent leadership, communication, talent development, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing company priorities while maintaining production performance.
• Ability to analyze data, use structured problem-solving tools, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior knowledge and experience implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma continuous improvement principles.
• Proficiency with production management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 pounds, along with other physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency and no need for sponsorship for ITAR/EAR export-controlled work.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP.
