What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with engineering and Operations, including engineering change requests.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements using DFx principles.
• Develop test procedures and support test specification, fixture design, and fixture sourcing activities.
• Collect and evaluate operational and test data, taking corrective and continuous-improvement actions.
• Analyze assembly and test issues, determine root causes, prepare failure analysis reports, and perform Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis for new product development.

Requirements

• Conceptual knowledge in manufacturing engineering and the ability to broaden capabilities in the discipline.
• Ability to solve straightforward technical problems using experience, judgment, and established precedents.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly in straightforward situations.
• Ability to work with engineering and Operations teams on product launches, process changes, assembly, and testing.
• Travel of approximately 10% is required.
• Relocation assistance is not available.
