Energy Technician II (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Field-based position serving York, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas; candidates must live within commutable distance to York, PA.

Salary: $17.75–$25.05 per hour; target compensation $21.40 per hour.

What you will do

• Conduct home energy assessments and evaluations in attics, basements, crawl spaces, garages, and other customer areas.
• Install energy-saving measures, including insulation, caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats, and electric water heaters.
• Record and report program data using electronic or manual methods.
• Represent the local program and company when working with customers, encouraging participation and addressing barriers to energy savings.
• Travel daily throughout the assigned service territory; a company vehicle is provided.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining quality service and installation standards.
• Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and ability to pass required background and drug testing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, crawl, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, and use ladders up to two stories.
• Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds and work in hot or cold conditions.
