Operational Risk Manager Sr (Digital Assets)

Salary: $93,000–$189,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Establish, maintain, and evolve the Digital Asset Risk Management Framework and related policies, procedures, process maps, and manuals.
• Provide independent second-line review, challenge, and oversight of first-line digital asset activities and proposed use cases.
• Assess digital asset risks and controls across processes, including compliance, operational, and third-party risks.
• Define and maintain digital asset KRIs, risk limits, metrics, scorecards, and dashboards based on activity scale, volume, and complexity.
• Monitor risk indicators, investigate adverse movements, report aggregated risks, and escalate material issues to executive management, governing committees, or the Board of Directors.
• Chair or participate in risk committees and working groups, advise on remediation, and lead operational risk strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of related experience in risk management and/or digital assets.
• Advanced knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence leaders, navigate ambiguity, manage complex situations, and lead initiatives in a cross-matrixed organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
