Segment Risk Manager- Ongoing Monitoring

Location: Columbus, OH, United States; office workplace

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Oversee and administer operational and regulatory risk strategy programs for a business segment.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of enterprise, regulatory, and business-segment controls.
• Direct self-monitoring, testing, and risk and control self-assessment activities.
• Escalate issues requiring attention to senior management and coordinate remediation plans with audit, business-segment, and corporate-risk stakeholders.
• Serve as the central point for distributing risk information and maintaining information flow with corporate risk management.
• Ensure adherence to corporate and business-unit policies and procedures while monitoring assigned-segment credit risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four additional years of segment-specific or risk-related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least five years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, or operational risk.
• Advanced knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build partnerships, collaborate across business units, manage ambiguity, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
