Segment Risk Specialist

Location: Columbus, OH, United States; office workplace. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Administer the corporate risk management program with the Segment Operational Risk Manager and business segments.
• Identify key risks and controls and perform risk and control self-assessments.
• Create, maintain, and improve policy, control, and process documentation.
• Develop and conduct control testing in line with established guidelines.
• Identify, assess, communicate, and implement regulatory issuances.
• Support timely issue remediation and foster risk awareness across business segments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four additional years of segment-specific or risk-related experience in lieu of the degree.
• At least three years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, or operational risk.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate across business functions, manage ambiguity, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
