Sr. Manager, Retail Risk & Supervisory Officer

Location: On site in Westlake, TX; Austin, TX; Southlake, TX; Omaha, NE; Phoenix, AZ; or Orlando, FL

Salary: USD $130,000–$180,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Support the communication, integration, and implementation of supervisory initiatives across the branch network.
• Identify, assess, and escalate supervisory, compliance, employee conduct, and policy violation issues.
• Lead a pod of daily supervisors responsible for delegated assessments involving electronic communications, product and service recommendations, trading activity, and trend reporting.
• Coordinate with branch managers, team managers, licensed representatives, Compliance, Legal, field leaders, and analyst teams to resolve inquiries and identify risk trends.
• Represent the risk and supervision function on firm projects and working groups, independently defining next steps and driving solutions.
• Coach business and field partners on policies and procedures while improving risk awareness and the culture of compliance.

Requirements

• Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 or 63/65, plus 9/10 or 8 or 24/53/4 licenses.
• 5+ years of experience in supervision and regulatory matters.
• Experience analyzing risk, identifying concerns, and resolving supervisory or compliance-related matters using sound judgment.
• Ability to make independent decisions, prioritize competing work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging business leaders, field partners, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Leadership, team management, coaching, or mentoring experience.
• Experience with supervisory controls, policy implementation, procedure development, or risk mitigation.
• Ability to identify trends across branches, regions, or business lines and translate insights into recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
