Senior Financial Analyst (Commercial Banking FP&A)

Salary: $93,000–$189,000 annually, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning for the Commercial Banking segment.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting on earning assets, deposits, revenue, expenses, capital, liquidity, and profitability.
• Develop executive-ready materials, performance reviews, dashboards, presentations, and concise financial commentary.
• Analyze actual results against forecasts, budgets, prior periods, and strategic targets, identifying risks, opportunities, and variance drivers.
• Support business cases, strategic investments, loan and deposit trend analysis, balance sheet analysis, and capital allocation decisions.
• Simplify and automate reporting and forecasting routines while improving data quality, documentation, controls, and repeatability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 7 years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, business analytics, or a related financial services role.
• Strong financial, accounting, analytical, communication, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills, including experience with large datasets and reconciliation.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, performance reviews, management reporting, business cases, or executive financial communications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaborate across matrixed teams.

Nice to have

• Commercial Banking, financial services, or core FP&A experience.
• Experience with Essbase, Smart View, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar reporting and planning platforms.
• Understanding of commercial banking performance drivers, including net interest income, fee revenue, PPNR, efficiency ratio, loan-to-deposit ratio, and ROTCE.
• Experience with automation, reporting simplification, financial governance, data integrity, or AI-enabled productivity.
