Software Engineer, Full Stack (Aerospace)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States. ITAR/EAR eligibility is required: applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Base salary: $130,000–$175,000 per year for the Software Engineer position; $180,000–$225,000 per year for the Senior Software Engineer position.

What you will do

• Own a Boomie domain end-to-end across design, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Design data models, APIs, and user interfaces for aerospace workflows.
• Work directly with engineers, technicians, and supply chain partners to build tools for their workflows.
• Ship production code during the first week and deliver a tool in daily use within the first month.
• Build MCP servers, schemas, and APIs that make Boom’s data usable by people and AI agents.

Requirements

• Experience building complex systems of systems in a serious technical environment.
• Strong full-stack range, including API design and frontend state decisions.
• Experience taking a new codebase from an empty repository to software users depend on.
• Fluency with modern AI development tools and sound judgment about their use.
• Comfort working closely with non-engineering users and translating workflows into software.
• Must meet applicable U.S. aerospace export-control eligibility requirements under ITAR and EAR.
