What you will do

• Identify, develop, and maintain custom tooling to enable automated workflows for diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build custom web applications for complex flight test data reviews.
• Develop, deploy, and scale time-series datasets with analytics, anomaly detection, and visualization.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for internal tools.
• Gather requirements and iterate on UI/UX directly with internal customers.
• Mentor a team of engineers on deploying custom internal tools.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
• At least 4 years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Deep expertise in building RESTful APIs and scalable containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Expertise with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience integrating Gen AI via API and familiarity with RAG.
• Knowledge of visualization technologies like D3.js, Plotly, Grafana, or Superset.

Nice to have

• Experience building tools for hardware or IoT, especially time-series data.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
• Previous experience coaching or managing a small engineering team.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Background in aerospace or flight test data analysis.
