Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote-first, with optional office spaces in New York City and San Francisco

Salary: $165,000–$260,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Participate in software development across design, coding, code review, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, growth, marketing, and product stakeholders to plan and build developer-focused features.
• Improve product performance and reliability by developing new capabilities and refining existing functionality.
• Prototype ideas and concepts and gather feedback from internal and external users.
• Work across the technical stack to improve the hirify.global user experience.
• Mentor peers and provide thoughtful engineering feedback.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills with a product- and user-focused mindset.
• Passion for helping developers become more productive.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to understand developers' needs and build effective relationships with them.

Nice to have

• Experience building native applications with Rust or WASM.
• Shell or Linux programming experience.
• Server-side programming experience with Go.
• OpenGL, WebGL, or other graphics programming experience.
