Senior CNC Programmer (Aerospace)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States. The role is subject to U.S. ITAR and EAR regulations; applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Base hourly range: $45–$55 per hour, with the actual rate depending on location, experience, and performance. Additional rewards may include long-term incentives, equity, and flexible paid time off.

hirify.global is developing Superpower, a 42-megawatt industrial gas turbine, along with the production capability for its first units.

What you will do

• Program Superpower industrial gas turbine components in Hypermill using 5-axis simultaneous, mill-turn, and complex 3+2 operations.
• Make toolpath decisions based on process requirements and verify programs systematically through simulation.
• Read G-code output and identify post-processor issues before programs reach the machine.
• Create complete setup documentation that machinists can execute independently.
• Manage program revision control so the correct version is available on the machine.
• Collaborate with the Applications Engineer and provide toolpath feedback to improve process specifications.

Requirements

• Demonstrated CNC programming experience with substantial CAM system depth.
• Experience with 5-axis simultaneous programming or strong reasoning about 5-axis geometry.
• Ability to read G-code and identify post issues without running the machine.
• Strong documentation discipline and the ability to produce machinist-ready setup sheets.
• Hypermill experience is strongly preferred; Mastercam, ESPRIT, or NX CAM experience is transferable.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR/EAR eligibility requirements.
