Production Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States. ITAR/EAR eligibility is required: applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Salary: $71,000–$91,000 per year, plus potential equity, flexible PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Track active jobs across the production facility and R&D shop and maintain clear status visibility.
• Identify schedule risks and route timely escalations to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Coordinate dependencies and handoffs between the high-volume production shop and the faster-moving R&D shop.
• Prepare written shift handoffs, updates, and escalation notes so critical information is not lost.
• Build, improve, and maintain simple production coordination and tracking infrastructure.
• Support the transition from prototype assembly to the first production units.

Requirements

• Experience in operations coordination or production support in a manufacturing environment, including direct floor coordination.
• Experience tracking status across multiple teams or shifts, preferably in high-mix precision manufacturing.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and create operational structure from scratch.
• Clear, direct written communication for updates, escalations, and handoff notes.
• Willingness to build tracking systems from scratch is required.
• Ability to meet the stated ITAR/EAR eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP or scheduling systems.
