Machine Shop Supervisor (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States

Base salary: $99,000–$125,000 per year, plus potential long-term incentives, equity, flexible PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Build and develop the machine shop team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and accountability.
• Manage daily shift execution across CNC machines, including safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Establish standards, operating norms, and processes for a new precision manufacturing operation.
• Run disciplined shift handoffs and ensure the incoming supervisor has complete operational context.
• Act as the management presence on the floor when the Machining Manager is unavailable.
• Address operational and team-performance issues directly and resolve problems as they arise.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in an explicitly supervisory CNC machining role within a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience building a team or serving as the first supervisor in a new operation.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing with strong safety and quality standards.
• Experience screening, evaluating, and recommending candidates with documented outcomes.
• Strong communication discipline, including structured shift handoffs, contextual escalation, and follow-through.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR and EAR regulations.
