Quality Engineer I

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; onsite five days per week. Travel is not required.

Salary: $66,400–$99,600 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols for processing partially finished and finished products.
• Collaborate with engineering, operational excellence, and distribution functions to establish and maintain quality standards.
• Design and implement methods and procedures for distribution processes, inspections, and rework projects.
• Specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, conduct quality assurance tests, and perform statistical analysis.
• Evaluate nonconforming products or materials, determine responsibility and costs, and implement reliable corrective measures.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with applicable quality procedures and governing regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a technical field.
• Experience is not required; the position accepts candidates with 0+ years of work experience.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not available for this role; sponsorship is limited to Principal-level roles and above.
• For degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering.
• Experience in operations or quality within a distribution environment.
