Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Onsite in San Fernando, California, United States. This role does not provide immigration sponsorship or support, including the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT.

Salary: $71,000–$118,000 annual target base pay for candidates in California and the New York metro area. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, wellness benefits, and paid overtime for eligible employees.

What you will do

• Repair facility structures, including drywall, tile, flooring, walls, and woodwork.
• Install and repair doors, boards, lighting, fixtures, and related electrical components.
• Maintain plumbing systems for compressed air, water, gas, and drainage, including pipes, sinks, toilets, and drains.
• Use hand tools, power tools, material-handling equipment, and machine tools to complete repairs.
• Identify required materials, submit supply requests, and move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Perform all work according to standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and good manufacturing practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or five years of equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of facilities maintenance training and experience.
• Working knowledge of facilities, furniture, plumbing, and fixture repair.
• Ability to operate associated hand and portable power tools.
• Fluent English is required to understand complex maintenance procedures, communicate with supervisors and colleagues, and maintain routine records.
• Ability to stand, walk, perform physical labor, and intermittently lift up to 50 pounds.
