Maintenance Mechanic I - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States; onsite second-shift plant role

Salary: $46,400–$58,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, rebuilding, and modification of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, PLC, alignment, wear, adjustment, and setup issues.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and support precision maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, technologists, quality personnel, vendors, and equipment suppliers on equipment projects and approvals.
• Maintain Maximo work orders, spare-parts records, quality documentation, and required equipment records.
• Support operator training, 6S workplace standards, safety, quality, Lean Maintenance, Lean Energy, TPM, and cGMP activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least two years of experience repairing mechanical systems, performing industrial maintenance, or equivalent technical work.
• An associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electrical test instruments, drawing packages, and multimeters.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, twisting, and balancing activities.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship or employment visa transfer is not available.
