Senior RF Engineer

What you will do

• Lead and execute RF and plasma engineering projects, including supplier development and management.
• Troubleshoot complex RF and plasma issues, define structured plans for high-value problems, and drive solutions to completion.
• Design and modify engineering assemblies, schematics, layouts, specifications, and product documentation.
• Plan, execute, and document engineering tests, develop product solutions, and support production releases.
• Lead integration of RF modules and subsystems with mechanical, electrical, software, process, customer support, and supply chain teams.
• Analyze RF and plasma behavior using quantitative methods, analytical tools, and simulation models while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or physics with 5–12 years of industry experience, or a master’s degree with 4–9 years of experience, or a PhD with 3–6 or more years of experience.
• Experience in the semiconductor or flat-panel capital equipment industry.
• Deep knowledge of RF–plasma interactions, RF generators, matching networks, RF filters, and high-voltage or high-power DC power supplies.
• Advanced hands-on experience with RF matching and measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF sensors, and power meters.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues, develop solutions independently, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and with external suppliers.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% domestically or internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with plasma diagnostics and electromagnetic or plasma modeling.
• Experience with PVD, CVD, or etch equipment.
